There was a very positive article regarding the Vols standing with Torrance. Butch is selling him on being the clear cut, starting QB the moment he steps foot on campus.

Spoke too soon on that "everybody else" part. Also, I truly hope that Butch does make him starter as soon as he gets there. Be like Easter morning for the rest of the SEC every time they play UT.

LSU has offered as QB

So have we, I was just pointing out that only a few coaches who are either stupid or scheme for a great athlete that can barely pass at QB are going to actually ever line him up at QB in a real game.

Everyone offers as a QB, then when he gets to campus, can't complete a ball, he gets moved.

OSU insiders feel good about him as of now, but OSU is kind of without a "leader" in this recruiting cycle so far, so they need someone to bring everyone in still

UT is in decent position with Gibson and Zach Gentry out of New Mexico. Despite Gentry being a 90 4* and Gibson a 5* top 25 player, I'd love to have Gentry pull the trigger next weekend when they're both on campus and have a QB locked in and help recruiting.

Have people not noticed that Nick Marshall ain't exactly Peyton Manning but seems to get the job done? This kid is gonna be the real deal and TN would be a great place for him to go. Butch has been waiting to get this hands on a QB like this to run his offense how it's suppose to be ran. TN has just been missing that dynamic QB to help their offense go. I wouldn't be shockd in the least if Butch drops a duece on all other schools and reels this kid in. Butch is about as good as it gets in the recruiting game. Guy can recruit. It is obvious.

Butch isn't exactly Gus Malzahn...

His offense has also never looked anything like AU with Marshall.

Malzahn hasn't won a national title so how is he any better than Butch Jones? lol.... Wow he was offensiv coordinator. You can't even compare them equally. One took over a Team coming off a nationl title and one took over a team coming off a losing season. Butch Jones is gonna suprise some people this year. Won't be much of a suprise as he has shown glimpses of being able to get it done.

BUTCH = TOOK OVER TEAM WITH LOSING SEASON
Malzahn = Took over team that had won a national title the year before.

Big difference. Moron.

Dang, when was UT's last winning season? It's been so long I've forgotten what it was like when they were good.

Did Malzahn take over Alabama?

I know it's been a while for UTk, but Malzahn did win a little thing called the SEC Championship last year (something I don't see Butch doing anytime soon).

Nick Marshall, officially the first QB in the history of any level of football to miss a WR for a touchdown.

Isn't he going to like 6 schools in 7 days within the next week? I'd expect no commit, even if he does commit soon, until after this week
