Cool, we need more of those in this conference. You need a better arena though.

A lot of basketball schools have gyms that hold around 10k.

Cameron Indoor was built in the 1930s. You just spent nearly $100 million on a brand new arena and it seats 9,000 people. That's not something a basketball school would do.

By that logic, you would think Duke would've built a much bigger arena years ago, and Cameron would be for the Women's program or a practice facility, much like CarMichael Arena at UNC which holds 8,000. Smaller, compact arenas are actually louder than open large arenas.

Please don't use the word "logic" if you're going to post shite like this.

Gonzaga is a private Catholic school, far smaller than Auburn.

My use of the word 'logic' wasn't directed to the sentence about volume in arenas.

So let me get this straight, a hog fan is angry because Auburn Arena holds 9200 fans?

Why?

If you read the post at the top of this page, I said it's cool that Auburn is a basketball school now. I'm not mad about your arena holding 9,000 people. I don't see why anyone would be "mad" about that.
