I don't know what's wrong with him. He looked fine and was laughing and joking with the team on the sidelines the whole time. Bert said that Korliss didn't feel well the other day and they are just making sure that everything is alright. He expected him back to full contact on Monday.

They took blood work from him last week, Bielema said. So it's definitely not your everyday bumps or bruises keeping him out.

Yikes. Someone please make me feel better about this from a defensive standpoint.

EDIT -- nevermind, went back and read the preface:

For instance, Arkansas worked on Red Zone stuff so many of the drives were for 10 or less yards for a touchdown.

Jared Cornelius - He has a nice set of hands on him. He catches the ball away from his body and will contribute this season. As well as he caught the ball as a receiver he dropped 2 punts and that was slightly alarming. Nice looking freshman, instant contributor.

Nothing against Cornelius -- I'm looking forward to seeing him in action -- but sweet baby Jesus can we get someone who can consistently and reliably field punts?

I'm not asking for Joe Adams, I just want someone whom I can trust not to drop the ball on a fair catch in a crucial punt situation.

If this team is going to "over-achieve" this season, it need a Joe Adams type player.

The mid-major approach to special teams will be needed.

It always amazed me when Nutt was here that we couldn't find one guy to field punts consistently. BP shored that up from year one, hopefully we're not going back to the Nutt days of horrendous special teams b/c it cost us numerous times during the Nutt years w/ the Fish fumble being the obvious #1

Also, wanted to ask about the Place Kicking. Are we just waiting for the freshman or does anyone else have a shot at being the starter next year?

I don't think Cornelius is going to be the Joe Adams that everybody is hoping he will be. He is a nice smooth athlete but he doesn't strike me as being an elite playmaker like Joe, but I could be wrong there. What he looks like is a faster, more sure handed Keon Hatcher. I don't mean their physical build, but their role on the team. He can take a slip or bubble screen to the house, or he can grab that 10yd slant on third down. I just don't see him making all 11 defenders fall on their face on a once a year type punt return.

Cornelius will be closer to a Cobi Hamilton than Joe Adams. Hopefully Jojo is the Joe Adams.

Right now he looks to be a mix between Joe Adams and Jarius Wright. He's got nice hands like Jarius, maybe even better, but a lot more wiggle than him. He doesn't quite have the Joe Adams agility but he's close enough to make plays in space. He isn't the size of Cobi but has a few more wrinkles to his game than Cobi did. His best asset at this point is his hands. I will bet he will be a legit scoring option before he leaves here.

He didn't shore up the position, he had a guy named Joe Adams who could play the position.

Shoring up the position would mean it would not revert back to what it was before when Adams left, which it did.

I'm talking total special teams, we never had a good kicking game under Nutt either and BP changed that quickly as well. Our special teams were one of his teams best qualities IMO. We had good return teams every year he was here.

Also he did have it shored up b/c Marquel Wade was gonna be a badass
