I think you can add Alec Morris to that list (or subtract him actually) in a few weeks/months.

If that article is correct, we are now one over with Hill leaving and at 85 if McBride doesn't qualify. I am going to assume that he won't qualify, so it looks like we are done.

I think we could still see a couple departures leaving us 1 or 2 below 85. It's a shame because LDR could've gotten that scholly if that really is the reason he transferred

The article originally omitted Bradley Bozeman. Assuming McBride doesn't make it in, it looks like they're at 86 today if the rest of the article is correct.

Yeah if Bo makes it in someone has to go. I really hope no one is forced out to make room this late in the offseason. Maybe someone has already departed or retired and it just hasn't been made public yet

Remember last week when it was "reported" someone was dismissed but a name wasn't mentioned? Unfortunately I think that was a preemptive strike. If Bo doesn't qualify they can just say, "we were wrong"
If he does they can say we told you 2 weeks ago. Basically I think it was leaked in preparation for the possibility of Bo qualifying.
Bo Scarbrough is more important to the future of the program than a guy like Orr or Morris, but I vehemently disagree with a guy being pushed out to make room this late, if that is indeed the case.

If Bo doesn't qualify this year, what are the options with him going forward? Is it a "spend a year in Juco and re recruit him." situation? I believe this might be the route we went with Quinton Dial. Pardon my ignorance on the subject.

I wonder why Alec Morris is staying. I like the kid, but it seems that he doesn't have a shot at the starting punter job, much less starting qb. I hate thinking of a kid being pushed out, but if Bo makes it in I'm not sure that there is any alternative.

Wait what about Keith Holcombe getting that bryant scholarship or whatever it was? Im sure someone we have signed has been able to pay their way to get Bo in. Saban wouldn't have signed him and everyone else in the first place to just not get them in. This has to be accounted for. Walker Jones could probably pay his way as well.

Doesn't matter now....Bo didn't make it so no more spots are needed. Will try and get in next January. Means we didn't sign a RB last class, which should put some room between the 2015 class and Jones and TenPenny. Might actually be good for us.
