Kind of off topic but I'm excited about Donovan Wilson.

I'm excited to see what Mastro looks like in an actual game now. Heard nothing but good things about him throughout Spring practice.

pretty good Sam Khan article on Mastro.

Not sure where to put this and maybe it deserves its own thread but both Kenny Hill and Darion Claiborne have been reinstated.

That does not mean the punishment is over necessarily, it simply means they are again allowed to use Texas A&M football facilities (most notably the weight room) and attend team meetings. No word on suspensions (though I certainly don't expect Hill to be suspended).

Darion deserves his own board.

I don't know, I put in a call, but my guess is he was told Allen has passed him. Sumlin was pretty up front with Matt Davis last year so I imagine he did the same here. It's definitely a scary situation for us though.

ETA: the other possibility is what I was told last fall. He was planning to get an MBA but Mays does not accept students with no work experience. Was told they were working on an exemption for him because of the situation (he can't go work and come back like a normal student) but maybe that fell through.

I honestly never thought he was the best for the job so I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it.

We have promised so many recruits that they can play QB that we will be fine.
