I'm being negative. The guy is our best hitter right now.

Cohen matchup obsession...
Brown only starts against righties...

That's so stupid. The kid has a hot bat. Who cares where it's coming from.

No way to know that -- since we haven't actually seen him attempt to hit against lefties.
I'd like to see him more too -- but to call it "stupid" is taking it too far...

I rest my case. It's stupid he isn't getting a chance after killing it this past week. Lefty pitching or not, I want my hottest bat in the lineup

You've watched us at practice and in scrimmages? You don't think coaches have a pretty good idea about what he can adequately do at this juncture?
And who are we pulling to give him that left on left chance -- when Hendo, Armstrong, and Bradford have all hit righties well lately...

I'm sure they do, but like you said, he hasn't had the opportunity in games, so how would they truly know? Practice is practice. Nothing like in game speed. I mean shite, I'd rather have a mismatched guy up there who is hitting well, than a guy who can hit worth a shite, but hey it's righty on righty, so play him

Which of our 3 outfielder starters in this game "can't hit for shite"?

He is all of the sudden incapable of DHing?

Over Humphreys? Against a lefty?
Pivey PLS.

I think Humphreys should be in the field, with Brown DHing.
3B: Humphreys
SS: Heck
2nd: Pirtle
1st:Detz
DH: Brown
LF/RF: Hendu/Armstrong (Need the speed in the OF)
CF: CT
C: Collins
This is our best lineup IMO.

Now that OM put in Buchanan(righty), it's a good chance you will be seeing him...

Gotta give it to Laster after a shaky start he has settled in pretty nicely
Posted on 4/22/14 at 8:03 pm to pivey14
Get Wes the frick out of the game. He isn't hitting for shite and now (according to the radio) lets a ball go straight between his legs
Posted on 4/22/14 at 8:04 pm to MSU4ever
why is he in the game?!

Laster is self-imploding as we speak

Did he really just hit 3 in a row? How do you not yank him after 2?
