I think we have the talent to make a run, whether our players can put it together is another thing. Rea really screwed our offense this season.

He sat him because he's been terrible over the course over the entire season. Coaches don't sit players solely for hitting into double plays.

Rea wouldn't have gotten sat Tuesday if not for hitting a ground ball into a bases loaded double play, period.

Yes, absolutely. My only point is that he is handling the team differently. I think we can agree he probably wouldn't have benched Rea 2 weeks ago.

Need the sweep tomorrow badly. As already mentioned, Cody Brown had a hell of a game today, and Ross Mitchell threw his 3rd CG in 6 starts

I wasn't able to listen or watch the game today but someone was telling me that the Missouri announcer was saying that Ross mitchell wasn't good he just kept the ball down did anyone else hear this or something similar?

The announcer was probably just saying that Mitchell does not have very good stuff. I doubt he was insulting the guy.
