It's so damn nice to have a kkick arse baseball team. Shades of 1997.

How well does Bama actually project in Omaha anyway?
Omaha is basically the NCAA Tourney of College Baseball, right? Again, not really a baseball fan, just dropping in to support Bama.

We currently project to host a regional.

How far is Bama expected to go?

This team could host a Super Regional as well. But at least should play in one. I don't know about making Omaha just yet. But that all comes down to who we would draw in a regional and super regional. And if we match up.

If we could make Omaha, with that park built for pitching, and if we learn to produce runs, we would have a shot.
UCLA was nowhere near the best team last year, but they had good pitching.

UCLA was pretty dang good, but you're right, them and Mississippi St weren't the best teams. As with basically any playoff system, it's all about matchups and who gets hot. If we continue playing well and get a regional and super regional at home then you'd have to be optimistic about Omaha. There's a lot of regular season left though against a brutally tough schedule. A lot can happen and we aren't guaranteed anything at this point with all the work left to do in these final five weekends.

Last night's game was a microcosm of our offensive inconsistencies all season long in a nut shell. 8 runs in the first 4.2 innings, held hitless in the final 4.1.
Hopefully we can take care of winning the series today so we can worry about a sweep tomorrow.

I was looking at ESPN they had us down 6-4 in 7th after I saw it was 6-6 on our baseball/ scoreboard we have on the SECrant where it says baseball on top
I think iy it CBSsports score board.
Up 7-6
Even if we lose I am proud of the never say die attitude.
