What's happening.
Tucker Hawley came on to pitch the 4th after an hour and 41 minute rain delay. Two-out single followed by a triple tied it up for St Louis. Groundout ends the STL 4th, stranding the runner on 3rd.
Turnbull's final line:
3 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 4 Ks, 0 BBs, 10 batters faced
Obviously very sharp for an opening day start, a shame the rain took him out of the game.

Geoffrey Bramblett on to pitch the 6th for us, still 2-1 St Louis. Will Haynie did throw out their leadoff runner to end the 5th so that's a good sign.
Hawley's final line:
2 IP, 2 ER, 3 H, 0 Ks, 1 BB, 9 batters faced

2-1 after 6. Bramblett struck out two in the 6th, but gave up a leadoff double in the 7th. St Louis' reliever has thrown 3 innings, just 1 hit and 1 walk allowed.

Pitched around the leadoff double. They bunted him to third and then we got a K and a groundout to end the inning. 2-1 going to the bottom of the 7th.

Vincent, Blanchard, Salem down in order. On to the 8th.

A great baserunner like Salem shouldnt be swinging away with a 3-0 count down 1 run.

Bramblett gets them in order in the top of the 8th. 3 innings, 2 hits, 3 Ks, no runs in his Alabama debut.

Leadoff single for STL in the 9th. Taylor Guilbeau on to pitch in relief of Bramblett. Very strong outing for the freshman though.
6-4-3 double play. Two outs, bases empty.
HBP and a single has STL runners on the corners.
