Sorry I am way late after a hellacious day in Cullman County for work (off till Monday though )
Ok I'm gonna kinda skim through what I know about Jrevonte and his posting on here.
Back before my tirade that got me banned over Cam Robinson and Sims (partially because I was posting heavily on the LSU Rec Board and have since stopped all together) when they both committed to Bama, TS started a thread about something else I don't even remember and was alluded to the fact that J was Moses' Dad and a light went off from what I could gather lol. Apparently the same person/poster was a how should I put this MEGATROLL over on BOL's insider forum about everything Dylan Moses ESPECIALLY after Dylan committed to LSU. TS took offense and very cleverly laid out his mines...J stepped on every damn one and the hilarity for about 2 weeks on the SEC Rb was magnanimous levels with all the TD crowd wandering over. Quite possibly the most interesting thing I ever read I think from Jrevonte though was posted over on the LSU board about Dylan's recruitment process and how he came really close to committing to Saban and Bama after a visit to Tuscaloosa that earned him an offer (camp I believe) a d as he put it (and this post sort of went under the radar surprisingly to me) "He had to get home" and he gave the feeling as if he needed to clear that sort of decision but he had no problems whatsoever with him committing to LSU of course...and he even posted how long it was and how enamored with Bama Dylan was and just when explaining his decision for LSU his explanation was "He felt like it was the right time"
hmmmmm...
I just found that sort of interesting
Anyway still catching up in the thread lol

Yea,he tries to act like it's all up to Dylan but you can tell the hate for all things Bama flowing through him.

Minkah was supposedly in Saban's office in a meeting a few hours ago.
A friend of ours from South Florida said he was "locked" up earlier today too.

Minkah
Jovon
Payne
Settle
Lewis
Honestly just keep what we have now, give me those five, and after that doesn't even matter.
Ok it does matter, but give me those five. Plus, I'm telling y'all, Devonaire. Devonaire. Devonaire.

Sadly I think we may have missed our opportunity at Jovon Robinson. We offered way too many RBs and Flowers is legit.
Hope I'm wrong.

I know this may not make a lot of sense, but I'm not sure we ever had a real opportunity to get Jovon Robinson.
Before AU was in the picture I still thought that a running back with aspirations to be one and done should not come to Bama with the depth chart that we have. The only way I see it being more favorable is if Drake processes himself, one of Tenpenny or Jones leaves, and Scarbrough doesn't qualify.
At least we will only have to play against him for one year.

I never understood why (with our depth chart) he was seriously considering us. I wouldn't mind taking him so others can't have him but I really don't think u can do that in this age of scholarship limitation.

I think Drake and at least one of Tyren/Altee is gone.
I guess he wants more carries than he would get.

If I was a big time RB recruit I would relish an opportunity to join a team with multiple elite RBs. Their shelf life in the NFL is much shorter than any other position. Less wear, less tear.
Maximize your talent in the NFL, not college.

Sadly most of these kids don't realize that. Few want to be part of even a duo.
Posted on 4/19/14 at 12:26 am to TideSaint
Exactly. Worst case scenario it's a three man group of Henry, Jones or Tenpenny, and Jovon. Jovon probably being the number 2. If I had his talent, I'd relish that opportunity. Bama is gonna be primed for a tile run in 2015, and you won't get a lot of mileage, so you have more life in the NFL. But I guess some guys would rather carry the ball another 200 times only to be beaten out by QBs for awards.

Let us talk about Tee McFadden for a moment.
Is he just no interested in us?
Is it just that he is more interested in LSU/FSU?
Does he not like our depth chart?
Is he not high on our board?
