How dumb do you have to be to get put away ? zing....

Oklahoma was national champions in 1950 and lost their bowl game, bowl games were considered a reward, the season was the be all end all.
Notre Dame wouldn't play in a bowl game, THAT'S HOW IMPORTANT THEY WERE.

Someone posted on here that from 1936 to 1964 only 8 national champions won bowl games.

GET A CLUE.

You know how many of them came from the NCAA?

Zero

And as long as the NCAA refuses to crown a champion we will always have this debate because any poll can crown anybody they want as "champion" regardless of record
