18th is Jayson Stanley, iirc. The 12th is the big rumor right now for one of the big targets. Don't know if it's true, and if it is, I don't know for sure who it is.

FWIW, I think Thompson will be committed to UGA by the end of the month. No inside info or anything, just a gut feeling. A few 247 analysts feel the same way.

Buddy said one was a 4*, the other a 5*. I don't know where he heard or read it.

Stanley would be the 4*. Thompson (more likely) or Roundtree (less likely) would be the 5*, if what he says is true.

I could also see Slayton committing soon

Legge over at the Scout site has been saying the same. One a 4* and the other a 5*. We will see.

Clemson said it has only 1 more defensive commit spot left, and claim they are holding it for Huggins. Huggins is aware of it, but said he will not be pressured into his decision.

So i saw sweat predicted to fsu almost 50% then vt and uga wa@aay behind.....did i miss something? I thought we had or have a better shot with him then this. I was kinda day dreaming of a thompson sweat dline terror squad and it took me back to watching seymour and stroud.

The kid is quiet about his recruitment so pretty much all of those CBs are guesses.

Both McGirt and ATH (RB) prospect Nyheim Hines want to play together. What's y'all's standing with Hines?? Would be a nice pull to get them both as a package....

UGa wants to take 1 RB this year, but I haven't heard about HInes at all, so it doesn't sound like they are pursuing him hard.

While I understand that I do not know Sweat AT ALL, he just doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would really like FSU. They tend to attract a certain type, and he just doesn't seem to fit it. To be honest. that is why I still think VT is his most likely destination. He does seem like a no-nonsense VT type. I still hope that UGA can convince him he will be happy in AThens because I think he would as well. There are plenty of low-key, non hard partying types on the team in addition to the rowdier ones.

I think it can happen. Making an official visit with us was big time. We recruit out of state pretty well. I'm guessing his decision will be later down the road. With Thompson (fingers crossed) committed to playing in the middle, hopefully he'll be drawn to the Classic City.

Wouldn't worry about the CB with Sweat. There won't be very much reliable info until at least a couple of his officials are done.

There really is no need for them to do that...

Highly doubt they'll be a package. I would expect McGirt to commit to us soon and we are not pursuing Hines. We've talked him some and we may look at him harder if he has a impressive season, but right now I would expect them to go to different schools.
