Gaillard just needs to be ready to contribute, not start a full game.

South Carolina just took Mon Denson as a second RB. Could push Ty'Son Williams to UGA.

This is the one I told you guys about a couple months ago who I played with in school for 3 years. He is a HUGE dawg fan and we just haven't offered yet. USC got a steal here. I promise he will be a star.

I wish we would offer. We could use at least one with the attrition. I know we are after bigger gets but I like his tape. Hope he gets one but if not I wish the kid luck at USC.

See, I talked to him a couple of months ago and he wanted to commit to UGA right then but he got some more offers and I talked to him today and he basically said Richt really wants him to play safety and not RB. Not to mention I think the ole ball sack has engraved the fact that he will never see the field at tail back. I tried some recruiting of my own on him since we are pretty good friends but he just wasn't buying it.

Sounds like the kind of player that can come back and bite us in the a*s hard.

Still, our coaches have done extremely well in the area of RB recruiting. Just hate to see the c*cks get a good one, especially from Georgia.

Good players see the field regardless of those around them. The cream will always rise to the top. USC isn't lacking talent themselves so he would be in a similar situation at USC but I can see his thoughts with 2 highly touted prospects coming to UGA.

I'm all for skipping a running back in this class.

If the current RB chart doesn't allow us to pull a kid who's of similar talent to what we can expect- I say skip in '15 and full court press the top back in '16, locking the kid down once he commits.

agree with the above 2... skip 15 and get a stud in 16.

in 15 I imagine we have

-marshall
-turman
-michel
-chubb
-douglas

and Green if need be... we can get by with that even with injuries. 15 will be a rough year anyway.

NVM found it, VT, OSU, UGA, FSU, and Oregon.
We also just got a CB pick this morning.

Speaking of Cootieships, Joe Ledbetter will be enrolling at UGA on Monday as a scholarship football player. This was the ideal scenario since we have space now and don't have to burn a 2015 spot.

Should only be a matter of time before Jonathan flips.

Not so sold on him flipping. Read this in Emerson's article this morning:

quote:

Ledbetter just happens to be the older brother of Jonathan Ledbetter, a defensive lineman at Tucker High School who is currently committed to Alabama. The younger Ledbetter is rated a four-star recruit."It doesn't really affect me," Jonathan Ledbetter told Dawgs247.com on Monday. "I'm just glad he's in school and has the opportunity, but we aren't a package deal or anything."

While that may be true, it's still so early in the process, I could totally see Ledbetter saying that to keep Saban off his case.

Worst case scenario we have a project TE for two years, best case we get his brother I can live the decision.
