I'm sure they've been introduced but I don't know how well they know each other.
I'm sure UGA will try to push that angle of them being the two NOLA kids headed east to UGA

not sure that that's a good thing

So..I will ask here what I asked on the recruiting board/Auburn commit thread....Auburn just pulled in a huge 5 star WR for 2016...consider Gus's offensive scheme in 2013..for me it is surprising..I understand Gus has a history of putting up passing yards.., I assume he is transitioning to a more balanced attack..although, I doubt it is that much more balanced..why change it if it works well..
My question, UGA has had a pro style offense with a strong pass attack..see Murray...why have we not been a bigger draw for higher profile WR's...what is the loss of attraction there....Mason..I understand...but hopefully with Eason...we see some interest for athletes at this position that want quality "show" time.

Terry Godwin is a 5* WR committed to UGA currently, have another committed 4* and are the favorite for a few others, so I think the problem may be overstated, but you're right that other schools seem to do better.
I think part of it is that UGA feels good about sticking to Ball's mold. Long, fast athletes with good ball skills. They may not be the most developed (highly rated) but he's a good enough coach to get a lot out of them. If you notice, you don't really see UGA running around chasing every 5* receiver out there like we do RBs. We've missed on a few in recent years, but none of those point to a systemic WR problem on the field.
I do think we'll have more success with Eason committed most likely

Green, MoMass, Troupe, Brown, Mitchell, Terry, and Godwin have all been very highly rated WRs (granted, the last 3 were "athletes" we recruited to play WR). Troupe and Brown were busts, but Troupe was a top 50 player and Brown was a 5 star. We've done a very good job at scouting the WR position, in my opinion. Might not sign the biggest named WRs, but they've produced, for the most part.

Our WR talent on campus - right now - is unreal. Conley, Bennett, Scott-Wesley, Mitchell, etc.
We've done alright with wide receivers. But, yeah, I expect Eason's commitment will open the floodgates some, especially in 2016 and beyond.

Saw on 247 today that we might lead for 2016 5* WR from Florida. Last name might be Soloman? He showed up to auburn on Saturday still wearing his UGA gear

I hope Eason being in the fold helps more with Nauta at TE more than any specific WR.

It's hard to be optimistic about Nauta right now. Just seems like he's set on going OOS. Says he likes everything about UGA and the staff, but we're way behind

that's so disappointing. he's a beast and I've really wanted him in red and black since the first story I read on him. some guys just really want to leave the state and if he does, then that's really the only reason. there's really no negative about going to UGA for him. we're an hour away and utilize our tight ends as well as anyone in football.

There's still time. And Eason and Cleveland's commitment can't hurt.
