I feel the same way but this is what great teams do. Tee, Jones, Bridges, Webster... thats championship caliber CB's. Too bad we dont recruit like champions do at positions we actually need. Looking at you future LT '16-'18.

I guess part of the reason I'm not excited about it is he is a juco and we don't have great success with them. But the biggest is he is not an OT. I know that has nothing to do with it but damn do we need some tackles

That's because we haven't had a coach that quickly develop a player to fit their style. We are yet to see what Freeze can do with his JUCO's/transfers(Cooper, Morris, Judd, Russell, Alford, Shepard)
Hooks is the only one we have seen go to work that Freeze truly recruited. Yes, he hasn't performed, but his career isn't over and we saw Pena take a huge leap in his second season. Not many JUCO DT's pan out.

He apparently ran a 4.5 flat on the laser. Luke saw shutting down Jalen Smith when he scouted him in jamboree and invited him up for last weeks camp. He didn't play ball his sophomore year because of grades.

Pretty smart move then. It's a no-lose situation. He goes to JUCO and either balls out or doesn't. We either sign him next class or don't.

And do you think we ever recruit Jaylen? With next years class, I don't really see us taking another WR unless they are a bonafide stud.

Awesome. Still worry about his grades doe. Would be huge considering there ain't shite for CB's in MS next year.

Franks was hitting 90 as a sophomore on the mound this spring so lsu feels he may be headed to MLB.
