Well I was skeptical at first to say the least, but lately there have been a few different things that have gave us more hope.

By saying more hope, I mean it went from a 40% chance we sign him to like a 45% chance. So still won't happen.

Future.. I'll be titled "ORDER RESTORED" and the message will be a lame tweet picture.

Malik is a pretty real possibility at this point. It's more like gone from 5% chance to 40% chance over the last couple of months...

His big thing is -- he doesn't want to play by himself. Wants to have complementary talent around him. That's the biggest challenge we face toward actually locking him up IMO...

Yep, we need to show some big improvements next year and show that he could come in and not have to do everything on his own. That being said I think we will be the best we have been under Ray next year and hopefully we can be competitive to help

This upcoming basketball season is probably one of the most important seasons in our programs history going in.

Show marked improvement, develop talent, make postseason = Ray keeps job, Malik possibility goes up, continues on upswing.

Flounder, miss postseason, talent stays the same/ gets worse = New coach, No Malik, Start all over.

Ray better be getting someone big from Jackson as much as he tweets about seeing the recruit. I don't give a frick about him meeting up with the guy.

Yeah, I agree. Congrats on the visit, Coach?

I hope Ray can pull at least two big talents this year. I still think he'd be one hell of a coach with the right people. That's kind of a generic statement, but IDGAF

So I'm realizing I never ran numbers for this year on how many we were gonna take. Anybody know how many kids we're expecting to pull in this year and what the position balance'll be? I'm expecting we'll only take one more receiver with Gray, Thomas and Jones coming in, and Johnson and Meyers can play that position as well. Thinking one QB, no more TE(unless something happens with Johnson), maybe one more RB, 4+ OL, one maybe two more LB's(Will Washington play OLB or WDE?), then I don't know on Dline or in the secondary.

We're taking a bunch...

I think we'll have 22 seniors -- plus Benardrick will leave as a JR. I'm fully expecting it to be a 28+ class...

Plus possible 1 or 2 not qualifying from the 2014 class.

Hmm. Are any of our guys/targets EE's? I know Patterson is but I'd be extremely surprised if we pulled from OM.

I'm pretty sure a few of them are this year. Already have Gray coming, will probably add the DE from Co-Lin and Danley from EMCC -- and may add a couple more JUCOs in this class.

It's seems like the highschool EEs we've gotten have been mostly quiet in advance for whatever reason. Dak is the only one I remember that was a known EE for very long in advance...

Justin Johnson

Will this kid end up bringing Hoover to the table in the future?

He has a lot of up side. We know MSU has been on Hoover alot.
