We are in his top 3 with OM and Oklahoma. I don't see us getting him if we get Danley

Well...I think everyone here agrees Lewis is better. It's just we don't want to whiff on Lewis, and not have a backup plan.

That would be Derrick Graham

Is there an article out of Daron Payne or just info coming from his teammate that is committed to us? I saw on twitter where he really likes us and coach Collins. Looks like we're in his top 3 and will get one of his OV

With Payne it's similar to The Humphrey kid from Hoover last year. He likes us and what we got going on but will eventually end up at Bama.

Yeah I think he ends up at Bama but it does help having his friend and teammate in his ear everyday

Redmond, Love, and even Market looked really good at corner in the spring. I was really impressed with how tightly Market could run with the guys he was covering. I think all of them will get a lot of PT this fall.

Once Danley commits I don't think he will be a take for us anymore.

So are things looking rosy with Danley? Have we pulled in front of Oklahoma for his services?

I saw that.

I am friends with him on snapchat. Just waiting for him to do a snapchat of freeze handing over the cash.

I didn't realize basically all of the MSU commits from AL were in the immediate Birmingham area. We should have a good bit of surrounding pressure on him from a few guys. I'm sure not nearly the pressure of the REC machine though...

My thing is -- if he goes to Bama, he's looking at being a space-eater NT being double teamed for his whole career. While it's the centerpiece of the entire 3-4 scheme -- I'd imagine it's a fairly hard sell in recruiting vs being a 4-3 DT and cut loose to go after a QB. Will be interesting to see how extensively Auburn gets involved as the process goes on...
