Any chance we steal any of LSU's recruits?

quote:While Holland has had maturity issues him picking Florida if they have staff turnover does not immediately mean it has anything to do with maturity IMO. It's much more likely that it would mean his heart is with the Gators or he wants to stay very close to home. Neither one of those are bad qualities.
Holland going to UF under these circumstances would tell me all I need to know about him. (i.e. immature and desires to stay that way.)

quote:It went well but it is not known if he's a take for Bama. You always keep an eye on kids visiting other schools. Nothings a lock in recruiting til a kid starts classes in January or faxes the NLI in February.
Any word on how his visit went? Anything to be concerned about here?

FSU is probably the bigger threat than bama for McGriff

SEC Champs, #2 in the country last year and undefeated #5 going into week 4 and we are barely holding on to other teams' leftovers

Have to disagree here...Mgriff is a tweener with no real position. At 6'2 230 my guess is he ends up at Hback. Would love to see him get a shot on defense. He's definitely a guy I would like to keep because of his versatility, but he's not a can't miss target. Our Hback position is about to be log jammed like the Star position if we keep recruiting like this.
We've converted a WR to LB before and it worked out pretty well...(Karlos Dansby)

And I disagree with your disagree. He is extremely fast for his size and could be a match up nightmare for CBs because of his size and LBs because of his speed. It would hurt a lot IMO to lose him because there is not another recruit in this class with his unique size and skills combination. I think he is very underrated.

Well I hope I am wrong and you are right because our wr recruiting this year has been a crap shoot. I just think he outgrows the wr position. He is fast but he plays rb at most camps and it doesn't matter how fast you are if you don't run good routes it makes you a lot easier to cover.
Here's his highlights from this season.

This is why I don't watch recruiting... It's aggravating, we need to start throwing some cash out

How serious are we with the Taylor kid out of UGA?

I think he's visiting for La Tech. I imagine we'll use him as a last resort if we miss on everyone else

I hope not. IDC if we run out of DT's altogether.
