Banking on any kid to put on more than 25-30 pounds of muscle minus anabolic assistance is a gamble at best. It happens, but it doesn't happen often.
Sure it does. Growing ends of bones fuse up, and caloric intake can be concentrated on muscle mass. Some guys stop getting taller at 15/16, while others 17/18, hence you have the "late developers".

Walker is a beast. How the frick do we not have a single DE commited. We don't even have one close

We definitely need to let it play out....
With that said, we may need to look at getting younger within the coaching staff... especially on defense... Ellis, harbison, garner, smith... all those guys are on the back end of their careers. It might do some good to get younger position coaches on the trail. Offensively, the two younger guys lashlee and craig do a very good job it seems.
That may be a bit of an overreaction... again, we'll see how it plays out come February

I think EJ is gone soon to retirement. People seem to suggest that idea that know him. Nothing explicit though

I'll be honest, I never realized his shoulders were THAT broad. Maybe he does have the frame. Every pic I'd ever seen of him seemed to not accentuate his shoulders like that one.
Either way, he'd better have a HELL of a work ethic to gain 50-60 pounds like Dee did.

I think if momma comes calling, T-Rob will come on home to Auburn.

I would love to get Takeo Spikes back on campus as a LB coach.

Kennion is a half foot taller than Walker. 6' kids do not put on more than 30lbs of muscle after HS on the regular. It isn't difficult to tell who played ball and who didn't around here. If it is so easy why is Mitchell having problems gaining, or Miller? Some do, and some don't. We are talking about 50-60lbs of muscle he needs to add...

Kennion is a half-foot taller? He's 3, maybe 4 inches taller (max). I guess I missed Walker being "6 feet" tall; he looks legitimately 6'2 to me.
And why would he need to gain 50-60 pounds? Dee Ford played at ~240 pounds for most of his career here. Look at the kid's frame you tard, note the obscenely broad shoulders. The weight doesn't even need to be "all muscle"....nobody gains "all muscle". Look how lean he is currently, he's got muscle AND fat to gain.

That would be ridiculous...might not even be fair if he was a coach at AU.

I've been on the T-Rob train for a while. Maybe Muschamp will bring him over from UF after he gets fired, Johnson retires, and we hire Boom as DC.
Oh, he can bring Ivey and Holland too.
