Florida should have their house in order by the time we play them. Their bench has gotten a TON of time with the suspensions and injuries they've had. And they've consistently given us trouble under Donovan. I don't see any reason that changes this season.

Control Wilberken (aka, Russ Smith), you'll play well vs Florida.
Not his name and that is a key to beating UF. It's not that simple though.

I can see UK lose 3 more games. The Fab 5 lost games…they did not run the Big 10.
That kind of refutes the whole LSU is the only team that concerns you the rest of the way thing.

I sorry, first day where I actually feel human….Flu bug fricked me physically and mentally….Scottie Wilbekin, is that better?
Even as shitty as we played last year, we still easily controlled the game in Rupp.

Dear SECRant,
I would like to ask for your help during this holiday season to give a minute of your time to help the less fortunate by emailing NBC and asking that Auburn be moved to 12a instead of last. We've been last for so long that way too many children don't know what it is like not sucking hind tit. Here is your chance to help ease that suffering by emailing [link=(nbcsportshelp@nbcuni.com)]nbcsportshelp@nbcuni.com[/link] and pleading with them to throw us a bone and put us ahead of Georgia and tied with A&M. I could even make a strong argument that we should be even with State and in a 3 way tie for 11th but I don't want to seem greedy. No child should go through life constantly sucking hind tit so your support in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Signed,
The 50 or so AU fans worldwide that <3 the game they play with the round orange bouncy thing.

Dear Auburn Fan,
Kentucky Football has received no quarter. Until then, it's a no go.

Reedus - happy to try to help but not sure I follow what emailing the mizzou board entails. Let me know what all is needed. Am on a mobile iPhone today but if it's a fairly straightforward thing I could do it

Lol at Tennessee not being most disappointing.
We have a lame duck coach and we're still 5th in the league?

Kentucky won't go undefeated in conference. I think 2-3 losses, although I do think they took a big step up yesterday in preparing for the rest of the season.
It's about the NCAA tourney anyway, who really cares about a couple of conference losses. Keep your eye on the prize.

He'll, I am just waiting for UGA to be able to hit a free throw consistently.

Admittedly, I haven't followed basketball as closely this year (basically impossible to find a Vandy game on TV and very difficult to get 1510 out of Nashville all the way in Auburn), but I have been pleasantly surprised by the team. With Kedren's suspension and Bright signing to play in Germany, I expected nothing from this year. However, whatever little glimmer of a hail mary chance at the NCAA tournament existed gets that much smaller without Josh Henderson.
A win over SLU would be rather impressive though. We do tend to find a way to win in Memorial, even if lately the Magic hasn't been as prevalent. It does have to overcome Stalling's senility. Rod is shooting fairly well, and Fuller isn't throwing the ball away every trip down court. Learning to hit a free throw once in a while would have got us the win over Providence (game may have caused a slight bit of road rage as I drove back to Nashville) and could have gotten us past Texas.
All in all, the team is still coming together. They don't have the pure talent that UK has that makes the gelling process smoother. Vandy's players also don't have Calipari to guide them. Stallings does not know how to coach a team without star players (or multiple of them), and this team just does not have that. There is no player, or group of players, on the squad capable of just taking a game over like he's had in the past with Shan Foster, Derrick Byars, John Jenkins, or Jeffery Taylor. Stallings is holding this team back, but that SEC tournament championship will keep him around (that and him becoming Vandy's all-time winningest coach recently) sadly.
Speaking of the Jenkins, Taylor, Ezili, Goulbourne, and Tinsley team, how the hell do you only get to your second game of the NCAA tournament with 2 first rounder draft picks and the first pick of the second round?! What kind of shitty voodoo magic coaching do you have to do in order to curse that bunch? Tinsley leads the SEC in assists per game, I believe. Goulbourne was a rebounding machine. Taylor was the best defender in the league and one of the best in the country along with being a terrific finisher. Jenkins was lights out from anywhere within half court. Ezili was a beast inside on his night. How?! Oh, right, you make mass subs at the most critical times to take the hot hand off the floor before it cools. STUPID! /endrant
TL;DR
Solid young team hampered by a coach losing his touch. Josh Henderson injury likely locks them out of NCAA tournament. Still chances for impressive wins though. Oh, and a mini-rant against Stallings.

There are some rumors going around that Chris Walker will be cleared to play this week and that he will make his season debut against Richmond next Saturday.
