Georgia wasnt winning the East with that defense last year regardless of injuries on the O side of the ball.
Well that's just a completely ignorant thing to say. Nobody knows what would have happened. We do know that with our fully healthy offense, we beat South Carolina and LSU, and were up by 3 scores on UT at the half before our season started going downt the toilet due to injuries.
There's no way with a straight face you can say the missouri game wouldn't have been different if we were healthy. For shite's sake we were a 2 point conversion from tying the game in the 4th quarter with 2 freshmen RBs and a ragtag group of walkons on offense.

I know it's crazy, but I think Miss. State can do something next year. Don't think they pull a Missouri. But I can see them surprising people by finishing third next year in conference. A lot of returning starters and QB looks to be good.

Some of you are such freaking babies. Your defense sucked, injuries or not, last year. Some of you liked to hide behind the injuries on the offensive side of the ball to avoid that reality. Georgia wasnt winning the East with that defense last year regardless of injuries on the O side of the ball.
Easy there Nancy. I didn't say Mizzou was a bad team, but to act as if injuries played no part in us having a bad season would be just plain ignorant. You can't deny the fact that we were basically in a shootout in every game we won up to the point of all our offensive injuries. By the time we got to the Mizzou game we had just ran out of bullets. We were averaging better than 41 points/game until we lost everyone in the UTknox game. You threw the 41 points out there. I just countered. You don't like it...who gives a shite.

I take it you haven't seen our SEC schedule next year nor do you realize we are returning 18 starters.
I think we have 5 Srs and 14 Fr on the 2-deep for the Liberty Bowl.

There's no way to know that. I feel confident in saying we wouldn't have lost to Vandy. Do Gurley, Mitchell, Marshall, or JSW make the difference against Mizzou? No way to know for sure, but I think it's a decent chance.
It could have been closer, no doubt. We beat you by 15 at your place. In hindsight Mizzou still wins, just maybe a one score game.

The game would have been totally different (ie UGA scoring close to 50 points). It probably turns into a shootout and Mizzou scores more too. The UGA offense that played Mizzou was literally Aaron Murray, a bunch of walk-on receivers, and a freshman FB and freshman slot receiver playing RB. A healthy UGA offense is probably 3 tds better

Do you not think that we struggled like we did because of our injuries? Do you think brendan douglas is driving towards the endzone before the half (and fumbled) if Gurley is healthy?
I'll reiterate...we were a dropped 2PC away from tying the game midway through the 4th quarter. With 2 TFr running backs, and 2 walkons and a TFr at WR. The TFr WR only had 2 targets all year beforehand. 1 of the walkons was playing in his first career game. To think that an offense with Gurley, Marshall, JSW, Mitchell, and Bennett would have done the same is just mind blowingly insane.
It'd be like saying if yall didn't have Josey, DGB, Sam, Ealy, and a few other of your BEST PLAYERS the game mightve only been 1 score different.

Also just for reference. During the 3 games when Gurley and most of our receiving corp was injured we averaged 24 points/game. When we got Gurley and Bennett back we averaged 47 points/game. To say missing them had no affect on the game makes no sense.

Yea, lets not forget our RS Freshman QB that had to come in a win the game. No biggie....
I like some you guys but you all sure a shite spin some excuses. You gave us no quarter last year when our injuries were FAR worse So you will have to excuse me when I read your fan bases cries over injuries this year and the only response I can muster is:

He played like 2 series, and that doesn't change anything with our defense. I'm talking about our healthy offense. I never said our defense was great.

So you deny that we are much better when healthy than decimated? Saying the game may have only been 1 score different if we had the offense we had against SC is crazy.

So you admit the 2012 game and the 2013 game, when you were healthy instead of riddled with injuries, was a big factor..yes?

The Georgia offense should be improved if healthy. The defense may well improve with experience, but I would say the most agreeable thing we could all say is the Georgia @ Mizzou game next year is likely to be critical to the SEC East race. Mizzou playing back at home may counter balance some of the strides you make with added health (of course none of us has any idea how healthy EITHER team will be next year...I could play what-if games about the Georgia-Mizzou game of two years ago too if Mizzou's OL hadn't been battered by injuries when we played you). At this far off juncture it seems fair to expect a high scoring and competitive game between UGA and Mizzou in Columbia, beyond that I don't know what to think about the outcome yet.

No freaking way you're that dumb
We had no Gurley or Marshall and no first string receivers.
Mason pushed y'alls shite in and you think Gurley wouldn't do the same

No, I can and have always admitted injuries can play a factor. You all didnt allow us that luxury last year and told us to get "SEC Depth" so...frick you, get some SEC Depth and...
