If I were a high school senior, there would be very few items in the con side of the ledger for UA, but SC would be one of them.

Cochran must be doing something right.
He's the only strength coach, college or pro that is a household name.
I'll bet he's the only strength coach who has had a 60 Minutes piece done on him, is a fixture on the videoboards on gameday, and is talked about on Howard Stern.

stern picked up on it simply because of how absurd cochran's routine is. it's not every day you hear about someone who is so amazingly annoying, he truly is special.

All for the wrong reasons though "in howard sterns opinion"

He definitely seems to drive recruits away.

football culture embraces these off the wall characters
have you ever hung out with asst coaches around a field or a gym?
out in the real world those guys are just dudes but you get them in a lockerroom and a switch goes off and they become big kids

I am a huge Stern fan but he doesn't know shite about college football
This. Howard, admittedly, knows very little to nothing about sports. JD saw the 60 minutes sports special on Cochran and brought it to Howard because of Cochrans voice and Howard put his (uneducated) spin on it.

Anybody looks like a good trainer when you went to the Tom Osborne school of training.

He reminds you of a French speaking Fonzy?
Think you're on your own on that one.

Haha yeah I'm not sure why he speaks in French.

He's fricking annoying, I'll give him that. Dude would only motivate me to escape his annoying voice.
Players actually go out of their way to do this.

Speaking of Moffit, will he go to Texas with Saban?
Posted on 11/21/13 at 5:16 pm to AUtigR24
I had this opinion of him the first time ESPN did their "Inside" series on Alabama. He never missed an opportunity to advertise himself and tell the players they were nothing special without him. And then his antics on the sideline to draw attention to himself. I'm surprised Saban puts up with it.
