Ball hit the ground 10yds in front if the guy therefore KCI is out.

He wasn't defenseless therefore targeting out.

It could have been "unnecessary roughness" if the refs really wanted to push it.

As it was, clean play.
Oh, and he didn't lead with the head, for the last time.
