I mean their entire program is built off of disappointment after disappointment. Every year they hear they are going to be great and then lose the big games as always...bitterness is a way of life.

We'll they're so single focused that they can't be happy unless it is early in the season and the natty hopes are alive. It just eats at them.
I don't think AU will lose tomorrow, but if we were to, I'd still enjoy the year and a good bowl game.
In honesty, it's probably because they're so consistently good but not elite.

I am bitter about many things in life, but luckily, under Richt, UGA losing to Auburn usually isn't one of them.
I am guessing that, yes, UGA will likely have to start playing by the shadow rules to eventually win a MNC, especially since the NCAA only punishes those who actually admit their faults.

UGA has had 1-2 down seasons under Richt, but I can't recall any UGA fan showing up to the stadium with bags on their heads. So which one is the unhappy, single-minded fanbase again?

I can recall half your student body becoming totally disinterested after you drop your first game and the title is out the window, so I don't think you want to go the loyalty route.
