Felt like we were never gonna win again. My baseball expectations were way too high though. I had to have something to balance with basketball have none, football middle of the road, and baseball at the good extreme to match basketball.
With that said, a great weekend. The bats were live, and the pitchers were on their marks.

We talked early in the season about the need for a Corbin-coached team to peak at the right time. Perhaps this team does that.

This is why I hate midweek games. Cards have little lose but Dores have to travel to Gators this weekend so may not play full steam.

It was a big game for both teams. That was just the first of 7 huge tests for this team and they didn't fair very well. These next 2 weekends will tell us exactly where this team is and what they're capable of.

From a coaching standpoint you would rather give up Cards to take Gators at their park. Cards play this weekend @ Temple so they could take more risks on a midweek game.

Not many hits, only 1 run between both teams. I had Gators taking this and the Dores taking game 2. As close as it was, gives me hope Dores have a shot at the series.

Carson was outstanding last night. We were able to scratch out a few runs to get the win. A win today would be huge.
