It's funny how we have attendance problem as soon as LSU changes the parking policy. I think one thing people do not take into account is people often times sell off/buy tickets on game day around campus. A lot of people use to show up with the intention to just tailgate, but then would buy tickets pregame or be given them. Those people, thanks in large part to new parking policies, are more and more discouraged from coming in town to tailgate and possibly buy tickets/occupying a seat. I think that has a lot to do with empty seats. I also think the new student ticket policy and how strict they are on usage of IDs has hampered student section attendance.

This parking policy has been the biggest inconvenience for me and my party and I know others as well. Not because of the fee, but mainly the hassle it presents when we all arrive at different times. All the other reasons mentioned such as "rain", "too late", "too early", "traffic", or "time"', when combined with the "parking policy" crap factors as one too many inconvenience as far as I'm concerned. Too much hassle leads to too much empty seats.
