Lose to AU and UF. Florida will pressure Murray and slow Gurley down. Their offense isn't good, but our defense is shittier. AU will hang at least 35 on our D.

Everyone in here must be smoking something. We are supposed to get Gurley back for the Vandy game and Bennet for the Florida game.

Vandy Win easy with Gurley back

Florida Close win but we pull out the win with Bennet and Gurley back. We also might have Rumph for the Florida game also.

We should win out if we get past florida.

Probably will lose to UF unless something else changes defensively. Auburn will be tough but we are still far and away the better team, but it wouldn't shock me if our defense made Nick Marshall look like an All-American and they end up winning.

Yeah except that he doesnt.

The best rb in the country absolutely makes us a different team. If you think plugging him in for BD or JJ doesn't make a difference then you're dumber than I thought. I already think you're pretty challenged.

ETA: Thanks for the grammar/autocorrect lesson

#3 and #4 are more experienced blockers on top of being great at running and catching.

As things stand right now ... I could foresee losses to UF & AU ... Vandy may be a tougher game than it really should. To be honest ... the only game I feel somewhat confident about is the Appie State game ... but I also have flashbacks to what they did up at the Big House a few years back.

Luckily Armanti Edwards isn't there any more. That dude would feast upon Grantham's unit

I think we have the talent to win out, but this team cannot put any team away. With that being said I could see us losing to Ufag and the barners but I think every game will be close for the rest of the season. This team is good but far from great and the coaching staff has the killer instinct of a newborn golden retriver puppy.

I say we lose to AU and win the others. I haven't really been impressed with Florida and we aren't still scared to play them anymore.

Realistically we split FL and AU and win the rest. That's a pretty good outcome based on where our D is now. If they improve we could still make it to ATL.

UGA can win out. But Murray can't have a game like yesterday.

I realize Man Purse was getting a whole lot of help from the OL, and the safeties were in the first row of the stands eating popcorn with white sorority girls. But a RS senior QB can't throw 2 picks and put the ball on the ground from a sack inside the 10. Yesterday was the kind of game that makes you wonder if Murray's been around 5 years in the Richt system. A sound effort from Murray - meaning no TO's, and UGA probably wins that game. Hell, they were in it late after it was a three possession game at the half.

The good news though, is that Murray is also capable of playing the kind of game that makes you consider for a moment if he's the best to ever play in Athens. And he should have Gurley back.

Damned if I know what'll happen, but UGA CAN win out.

I think Florida and Auburn are to very possible loses. My optimistic side is still hoping that with Gurley and Bennett back we might could pull something out of our arses. If our defense plays like they did against South Carolina and LSU I can see us maybe winning out. But I'm not getting my hopes up, as long as CTG is still our D coordinator.

With Gurley back for Vandy, and then Bennett back for FLA, we win out and play LSU in the SEC championship game.

I like your style but that's not very realistic to me.

It sounds like most don't think that the defense is going to hit a "turning point" during this season and get better.

Richt's comments yesterday about the defense: "You've just got to be careful not to change too much because (then) you have no continuity. If you've got a guy who's going through some growing pains and then you decide to make a change with another new guy, then he's gotta go through his growing pains as well. And before you know it you've got no continuity at all. So we're not in any kind of position where we think we need to make a bunch of wholesale changes right now."

IF this defense could turn the corner and some light bulbs start to come on in the secondary, there could be hope (combined with the presumption of Gurley returning by Florida and possibly Bennett).
