Still has a higher QBR, has a higher yard/attempt, and is a vastly superior rusher to your starter. Spin it!
So does Bo lose to AU since he is obviously an inferior QB?
Wanna make another wager or did I chop your nuts off?

Just that talent isn't why you almost beat them because if that were the case then WSU has a lot of talent. I know our chances on the plains
So, why are you making straw man arguments about our talent level then?
Dak was an early-offer high priority(to us) QB that we hit on. Exactly like Staley and Fitzgerald. It is what it is -- and I'm going to be excited about it until I'm given a reason not to be. The fact is -- a bunch of our own fans bitched about Fitz at the time he committed -- but his season thusfar has opened a bunch of eyes -- while he's lit up Georgia 5A on the ground(he runs a wing T and throws <10 times/game -- hence why he is such a sleeper prospect).
We've been beaten the hell up this year -- lost an OL starter and DB starter for the year in the first half of game 1, have had 4 more DBs miss significant time with injuries, had a backup LB and starting QB out for almost the whole season thusfar with concussions, had 2 RBs miss time with nagging injuries, had 2 DTs miss almost everything with injuries AND we haven't been out-talented in ANY moment of any game we've played thusfar.
Our issue this year has thusfar NOT been anything even remotely related to a talent problem. And our improvement defensively proves that it wasn't a talent issue on that side last year either.

I guess we'll see. I still don't know how "winning" = > QB. More WiO logic. Fact is -- Dak lit Auburn's arse up -- and was 2 bad receiver drops away from totally dominating the statline of that game even more than he already did -- and us winning the game convincingly. It is what it is -- AKA not his fault.

I didn't read all that but obviously I have over exaggerated y'all's demand for better recruiting. I've heard bitching about OL and skill player recruiting but I guess y'all just need a new coach to coach'em up. That mindset is fine with me

I didn't watch the game so I had no idea that Dak lit AU up, just saw low scoring against a terrible defense.
But you tell me. You don't think your defense is better than ours? You don't think your OL is better than ours? You don't think your RB's are better than ours? You obviously think your QB is better than ours.
So surely we lose right? I mean AU is only going to get better as the year goes on like OM did with a brand new coach and QB. They also return all of their injured players that didn't play against State, while also getting a bye to prepare.
Just seems that if you really believed that Dak was better than Bo, then AU should beat OM since they beat State.
If so, we can make a non ban wager since you're obviously too scared to take one again

We need better OL recruiting. No one is arguing about that. This thread isn't about OL recruiting though -- and our development and first group has been pretty good. It's "ready" depth at the position that is a concern.
And yes, we would love for Hevesy to be sent on down the road for someone that doesn't sabotage at least 1-2 prospects a year by being a total moron on the recruiting trail -- but know it's never going to happen under Mullen.

Fitzgerald's HS team runs the triple option. Not sure he's a QB prospect as he will go several games with 4-5 pass attempts.

WSU had the talent to beat AU this year.
But they didn't and actually beat USC the next week at USC.
They are 3-2 with losses to Auburn and Stanford, its not like they are a terrible team.

LOL. The meltdown over how good that kid has potential to end up being will be epic -- and it hasn't just been OM fans saying it either
Look, I haven't kept up with the kid. I just remember when y'all offered him he wasn't even a starter. Good for him he's doing well, I hope he ends up being good for y'all. I certainly won't "meltdown" over anything.

He will get a look at QB first and could also play WR or TE. Very similar frame and athleticism to Ryan Tanneyhill.

K
Think I'll trust our evaluations in 7 on 7 and other similar events over your evaluation from rare passes(almost every completion of which go for TDs) in highschool games.
I like the offense. It keeps him under the radar as a thrower while he lights people up with his legs -- and is a simple transition into our option-based offense.

Why do you trust your team's evaluations, but not everyone else's since youre his only BCS offer? Muffin's can evaluate just not coach I guess

Yeah I mean hey that's worked for Mullen so far, with diamond in the rough prospects like Dylan Favre, Nathan Schuessler, Damien Williams,
I mean I just stated facts Sally. You should probably calm your tits before you go on a stat rant that everyone will ignore.

Yes

Toss up. They are used differently.

The correct one is.

How can that leap in logic be made? I think you could very easily lose the game, yes.

You can't say that as a blind conclusion. It's still early. Marshall makes some mistakes. As such, he's feast or famine MUCH like Bo was early on.

Like who? They didn't have many injured players against us. Certainly fewer than we had against them.

Again, we'll see. But you are making ridiculous logical leaps here.

So, you REALLY want to make a ban bet or something similar -- that you go into Jordan Hare -- at night -- and beat Auburn? Really?

It's not if I assume you think State is better at every position group other than WR, and since you are an ED regular I just assumed such.

How is he not a prospect? Was Calvin Johnson a WR prospect coming out of GT where they ran the triple option and passed the ball only 5-6 times per game?
