UK finished the 84 season at #19 in both polls
Cats went 9-3 that year which I think is the last time they had 9 wins.

Kentucky is Kentucky and no matter how bad our offense is, it beats UK pretty badly.

Florida - 31
Kentucky - 10

Yes, but you now have Joker, which is a huge swing in our favor.

Our receiver play is better so far than it's been anytime in the last four years...Joker has helped significantly improve this area. The running game has regressed, but the WR position has been greatly improved from last season.

Yeah, our defense made Teddy Bridgewater and that "high power" Louisville offense look pretty fricking pedestrian until exhaustion set in.

If only our offense could string together some drives to give them some rest.

Big difference. You always play Louisville close.

You never play UF close.

The gators have a better QB now, they will score at will, I am guessing 48-7.

Louisville only scored 27.

If Murphy leads the Gator offense to a 27+ point outing in his first start, oh boy.

Not necessarily true.

2002: 41-34
2003: 24-21
2007: 45-37

I don't care about history anyway. New coaching staff. New start.

Louisville is overrated, the QB is really good, but the rest of the team is just meh.

They didn't turn over the ball seven times against us, and we didn't get them at home.

Obviously "never" is an overstatement to make the statement's point play out. The fact that you have to go back to 2002 to find three games that were even remotely close does illustrate the point though. For some reason we seem to be able to score despite having terrible offenses on UK.

Meh. Like I said, new coach, new start.

We had a winning record against Florida before this awful streak began. Streaks are meant to be snapped.

I would love for you to beat them, I just don't think is possible, maybe in a few years.

I hope I am wrong and you pull the upset of the year.

UK blew a 21-3 lead in this game with UF starting Chris Leak as a freshman in Lexington

Nah. The upset of the year would be us beating Alabama. We all know that's impossible. At least there's a chance, no matter how small, of us beating Florida.

Isn't Florida and UK the longest yearly streak in CFB? I think it is now. UF and Vandy is pretty close as well. The bigger question is. Will UK break it before UT? I don't honestly know this answer.
