think he had hip surgery and has been doing P90X...the hip surgery may do for why he looks aged/sick...P90x for why he looks thinner.
Don't know if its all true but think I read it in an interview with him somewhere.

Definitely thinner with shorter hair. His tan rocks though.

He spoke at my church a few weeks ago and looked totally different. Wife just said the same thing. He looks sick, and not just like a cold kinda sick.
