100% This.

Appreciate the feedback guys. That post wasn't meant as any kind of big deal.
I enjoy recruiting. I wouldn't mind casually following the rest of the SEC's recruiting. But every time I visit, the first thread I read always devolves into an argument between fanbases in like 3 posts. It's like the comment section of a political news article being spliced into the article.
I also enjoy tRant from time to time when I'm in the mood. I get it. But it never bothers me because I never make the mistake of going there for information

That forum is not good for real discussion, although it is good for learning breaking news though as people run over there with a new commitment to troll.
With that said, in a way for Aggies it is a better tRant than the real one if you like that environment. Some of the best tRant-esc moments of that forum (just recently):
-#5 for 5
-The Speed Noil QB National Title
-the mega Texas vs A&M thread that got passed around in a sip email chain and get bumped with passion.

Just a violent looking motherfricker
He was the judo defensive player of the year IIRC

I honestly thought you meant judo. I was like "what a badass".

it actually would be a lot cooler to have a fricking judo star

If you get past jay Arnold's UFC grappling, you may regret it... Lol

So apparently texas sent a letter to the coach of Cavalry Baptist to try and get one of their players to attend camp, problem is the coach they sent it to retired in 2008.

What a fricking clown show. Good lord.

I understand things happen. But their lack of organization seems to be constantly on display. This is sort of like calling a guy by the wrong name. Not a deal killer, but it's not exactly how you make a great first impression.
It's not always easy. It's one reason I like Sumlin's approach to only recruiting 4-5 guys at a position at a time. Much easier to comb over the finer details when you aren't spread so thin. Also leaves a lot more time for relationship building.

Is Kyler Murray still in Oregon? Hamm said he'd post a report after his return. I haven't seen a report.
