Nothing other than rumors on The Site That Shall Not Be Named.

Sucks, but one position I'm not worried about. I seriously wonder if it has anything to do with Quiv being pushed down the depth chart.

According to multiple sources, Texas A&M wide receiver commit Damarkus Lodge has opened up his recruitment and he informed David Beaty that he's formally de-committed. The four-star pass catcher told GigEm247 Wednesday night, “I still haven’t ventured out to everywhere I want to look at. This is all about me being able to go see other places.”

The Aggies depth at receiver and rushing into his decision were also cited as reasons for his decommitment.

Oklahoma, Baylor and TCU are schools the Cedar Hill product are highly considering at the moment. LSU and Ole Miss could be options as well but Lodge prefers to stay close to home.

Doesn't mean he won't sign.

This is from BP

The fact that A&M has such depth at WR was a big deal here. He saw all the playmakers there and the fact that A&M spread the ball around to so many guys.

I think it's very true at this point.

Give me Christian Kirk and either Merritt or Tyron Johnson, and we're still looking pretty.

If depth really scared him off, he won't be back. It really doesn't matter as long as we get Christian and Kirk

Agreed, don't see him coming back.

And I really don't see depth being an issue. We rotate a lot of wideouts, and Josh Reynolds is only here for one more year.

It seems like guys who decommit rarely end up signing with that school. Oh well, I hope he goes to Baylor or something instead of an SECW school

Well, let's look:

Kennedy is gone after this year.

That leaves:

RSJ
Speedy
Reynolds
Pope
Holmes
Nacho
Jeffery
Tabuyo
Quiv
Parker
Kirk
Siverand

That's 12 receivers for 4/5 positions. He wants to be the focal point of the offense I guess.

I think BP also said something about how we spread the ball around to so many people was a factor. Which makes thinking about Baylor so stupid

I agree that focal point is the key. For some reason I can see him ending up at Ole Miss.

Y'all think we use that spot for another WR or for defense? I'd still like to get Sheffield and Boyd.

It gives us a spot for Boyd/hill, but we've been telling Kendall he's the last corner we are taking. So I don't know what that does for them

I don't have twitter, but supposedly Joey McGuire (Cedar Hill Coach) tweeted that Lodge hasn't spoken to Beaty or Sumlin. Interesting.

Kind of shitty of him to do without even telling the coaches. I think it's obvious from what he's been sending out that he is decommitted

Have we learned gene splitting and have turned Christian Kirk into two badass receivers?

I only rag on you out of love and because you are competing for my woman
