Malik Jefferson said his Austin visit was a 9/10 and his favorite part was spending time with the staff.

Malik Jefferson tweeting about a decision. Could be about what to eat, but timing is interesting. Would love if this was trolling Sips.

Listening to sip radio this AM on the way to work they are convinced that not only is Malik going to commit but he is going to be a "pied piper" that convinces others to follow. First he will get Dylan Mack to switch "since they are buds" and then no telling where it goes since by their own admission Mack is a huge "pied piper". What they don't seem to be able to put together is that since Mallk has been a heavy Aggie lean for a long time and all his buddies are coming to A&M it is far more likely that works out for us.

Anything can happen with these kids and no doubt Malik had a good visit to Texas but we have an awful lot more bullets in our gun than they do on this one.

For some reason I don't feel good about getting Malik. No concrete facts, just a gut feeling.

I guess I like to mentally set myself up for the worst, and be elated if he does decide to pick the good guys

Yeah I'm starting to get bad vibes on Malik also, but I also like to prepare myself for the worst. No way he flips Mack though, I'm more worried about Mack wanting to play for another SECW school or an OSU than Texas if he were to decide to leave.

Former #TAMU and #OU commit Kerrick Huggins, who didn't qualify in 2013, is planning to join the U.S. Army. Good luck to him.

welp, I guess we can scratch him off the list of potential JUCO DTs

He must have dropped serious weight in order to qualify. Defensive Tackles don't typically pass tape.

I can't see them flipping Malik, although, they are probably using Kendall Thompson to help show how he would be used. I just can't see him not committing to A&M after we've hauled in the guys he is closest with. If Murray had gone to Oregon, then it would be more believable for me

I think this too, but we need to be placing an absolute priority on him and hammer his recruitment as often as helpful until he commits.

With Malik, Mack and Murray, I think this entire class will stay together.

Josh Wariboko is visiting this weekend.

Always like our chances when we're able to get kids on campus.

we're starting a push again this week as the lockerrooms and Bright are finished and practices start. We've sort of put guys off til now but we should have a lot of our top targets through in the next week or two.

And Wariboko is here today I think. This weekend is Elam and Deberry and maybe a few more like Sheffield. I'd also be surprised if Jefferson doesn't visit soon.

Was Elam at LSU recently or have a visit coming up? Thought I read that. Hoping we can land him, he's one of my favorite non-headline guys in this class

Came in yesterday and I think left this morning, which appears will be the same thing he does at A&M

yeah, think he's an extremely important player in this class. You can't play press man without some lengthy corners and I believe Victor Davis is our only corner as tall as 6'. Really limits your options as to how you play on the back end.

Think Sheffield, Boyd, Hill are all more ready to play today. But Elam is the kind of prospect that is damn hard to find. Miss on him and where do you look for a 6'3" corner?

Whoever LSU offers next at the position Raymond has a good nose for sniffing these guys out

But yeah, guys of that size and the athleticism to play CB is rare to find

I know that's y'alls schtick but LSU doesn't have a 6'3" DB on the roster
