Not sure how I feel about that statue, but I'm leaning towards liking it ( :swidt: ). Want to see how it looks next to the stadium though.

I absolutely fricking hate that statue. You have permanently made a tribute to bad hair, fat chicks and fricking cargo shorts.
From the first time I saw a mockup of this I hated the idea and it's every bit as bad as I had imagined. It's really lame and wasn't needed. /rant

Side note: it is CRAZY awesome that a game vs. fricking LAMAR is going to be televised. I appreciate that more since we aren't so far removed from having big12 conference games not televised. I love it

In the year 2009, we had 6 games not televised.
In the year 2010, we had 4 games not televised.
In the year 2011, the Idaho game was PPV only.
In 2012, the SHSU game was PPV/ESPN3.
In 2013, the SHSU game was PPV/ESPN3.
In 2014, we get every game televised one way or another.

I guess I didn't realize until this picture that the strip of grass between the field and the west side were at the original height. I somehow thought they tore everything down 8' and then put up that temporary wall and the grass between it and the west side was at the same level as the field.
