I think they're putting something on it, not removing it.

Nice troll :-). Look at the west camera view on kylefield.com. They're spreading sand to fill in the gaps between rows.

On the other hand, maybe they're paving over the whole damn thing and football will no longer be played.

for those that haven't seen it, here is MSU's new baseball stadium concept drawings

If demand is there at Olsen, I'd really like to see us copy that LF suite idea. I really like the idea of building a suite/club facility in RF. Obviously we couldn't have seats in front but we could put suites right on the fenceline. I'd save the LF area for seat expansion should it be needed down the road.

The new MSU baseball stadium looks incredible. Their football stadium renovations done this year were very well done for smaller scale renovations.

With the train there is no way to put stuff in RF. They couldn't even leave the scoreboard there back in like 04 or 05.

And with the Rec expansion, unless there is already something in the workds, then there is no room to do anything in LF either.

However it would be the worst thing in the world if we just added suits all the way around the top and extended the lower section down the line, getting rid of the berms.

We put the visiting bullpen there. You can always move that. Or you could always build a higher fence and move it in. And you can build right up to the Rec center in LF. Baseball parks can fit their surroundings quite easily

The lack of a fun outfield area for people (esp students) to drink and tailgate in will always hinder our atmosphere I think. I mean we are top 10 in the country probably but being in a division with Ole Miss, LSU and MSU we will always be compared with them. Having an area like that would drive a lot more student traffic to the game, and I think it could be done while still maintaining the uniqueness of the student section in the stadium

I went to a game in aggie alley once and it was great, even if it was only 3-4 groups of people there. Wish that could be the whole outfield area I think it would really get a lot more people involved that aren't baseball regulars in the stands.

It’s somewhat fitting that this is the largest videoboard in college football as well,” says Cook. “And the great thing about this videoboard is, it will allow us to do two 16×9 video pieces or replays side by side. So that was something that was very important to us.”

They have put up a huge block aTm on the backside of the scoreboard. Looks fantastic. Can't find pics though.

Awesome thanks.

I was hoping they would do something like this for the backside if the scoreboard.
