i thought i heard Beckner would visit for the UGA game but maybe he is waiting. I don't know what to make of him as far as recruiting goes. If he truly doesn't like the limelight and is focusing on school and football, he is a rare gem GP would love to have.

It will be interesting to see if Coach flies the helicopter to ESL on the bye week. He may not be the kind of player that likes that.

I bet I could count the number of comments he's made about his recruiting on one hand. Most of the information we learn (like that last link I posted) all come from his coaches. Would love to get Big Sheldon back whenever he visits. I could be reading too much into it, but there seemed to be some connection there.

Coaches flew to one of his games last year (I think against O'Fallon who had the Hendrix kid) and he still has Mizzou as a leader, so it didn't hurt.

It wasn't a comment from Beckner but did see a few Mizzou writers say that Beckner would be in attendance for the UGA game among a few other big names. I feel with TBJ, as long as we win we have a good shot with him.

3* OT Josh Jones was offered today. He is an Okie State commit. 6'6 276. Seems excited to have his first SEC offer.

Just wondering if anyone heard anything about Megginson reconsidering Mizzou since his recruiter is now at Mizzou.

Have not heard anything but it could be something to keep an eye on. Especially if Mizzou goes down to UF and wins.

He's 100% to Illinois. He has went on record several times saying he committed to the school because it's his home state and not because of who was recruiting him. I think even if they have a terrible year he won't reconsider.

Is there any chance that Illini won't have a terrible year?

Megginson would be great but thanks for the update. I was wondering about him myself.

Updated scholarship count.

Copelin is off of this list so it's updated.

Who is Hurrell and will he lose his scholarship next year?

We are at 83 with 14 seniors. So will have a minimum of 16 scholarships to give at this point. Make it 18 minimum if DGB2 and Hurrell don't have scholarships next year. Then add in anyone (Ray???) who leaves early or who transfer.

Boehm could go to the draft. I would say more likely he stays, but 3 years starting with ability to play all 3 interior positions makes it possible.

I'd hate to see Ray and Boehm go but I bet they do.

I have read on PM several times that Boehm will stay all 4 years. His parents want him to graduate and centers don't normally get drafted very high being the reasons cited.

Boy, I hope so. What positions do you think he can play at the next level? Center? Guard? Think he can play tackle?
