From the PM guys, they have heard Bauer will RS as he put on some bad weight with his year off. I haven't read anything about Pendleton either, but Fairchild has been mentioned at OT several times. I doubt he'd be in before Rhodes, but he's apparently impressed during the spring and summer. He also has the pedigree as his dad was an NFLer.

I hadn't heard or read anything but just kind of watching where he was on the depth chart and reading between the lines, it had looked like Fairchild took full advantage of enrolling early. He still seems a little undersized but maybe that has changed or I'm remembering it wrong.

thanks, that really answers what I was asking, apologies if the question was vague, was wondering what his current situation was is all, I do fine speculating on where they might fit in at.
Yea looking at the roster and already seeing Rhodes and Fairchild in the depth spots shows some pretty strong confidence in those two young men. That looks good from the recruiting standpoint, I think the services basically undershot on them and our coaches see how they can build on them early.
Without another year of injury plague I don't see needing any of the young guys to actually contribute this season, it's just that Bauer had the talent to be in the mix early on, if everything worked out just right for him, which I guess it didn't.

Hall 6'3" 194 from Centennial HS
second one in as many weeks, another good pickup..
wow just watched his hudl film, rivals lists him at 175, but he's easily 185 and may actually be the listed 195, looks like one of the biggest receivers or backs on his team as well as most of the teams he played against. Has good awareness and understands the game, impressive speed, takes hand offs on end arounds and moves with crispness, uses his size well to gain advantage on smaller DB's...
well I was wrong earlier above, he's not a "good" pickup, he's a great pickup.

Hall article - Good quotes from HS coach
quote:
"Honestly he’s been the best athlete I've ever coached in 19 years as a high school coach," said Brian Rector, the head coach at Centennial High School in Franklin. "He’s very explosive and really athletic. And he’s just now starting to understand how good he can be. The upside of this kid is amazing. I really believe he’ll be in the NFL someday."
quote:
"We move him around, but he’s more of an outside receiver," Rector said. "With his size and speed he really stretches the field for us especially on vertical routes. And he’s very long. When you’re able to have his speed and his explosiveness, you’re able to win a lot of matchups."

Another reason why I just don't buy these recruiting rankings, the guy sounds like a monster

Updated list of commits on the OP. Too many offers to keep up with right now but I will keep up with the commits and try to post offers in thread as we get them

Thanks for updating 23. I like following who Mizzou is offering, but I can tell you, as of a week or so ago, I don't think Scout, Rivals or 247 had us offering Richaud and only Rivals I think had us offering Hall.

I enjoy following offers too but some fall through the cracks. And as of right now I think we have 150 or so offers out?

Bailey will be the best OL out of last year's class.
He's super athletic. Reminds of Britt in that regard, but comes in with a better body.

love his quote on commitment, bet he gets some last minute offers from blue bloods this year, hopefully to no avail. Pat Washington getting it done!

I thought the same thing reading it. Nate Brown all over again.

Not sure his body was better, had wrestlers compete vs Britt and he had a great body, speed, explosion and grip. He was a lean right on 275.

Besides going to "prospects" within the scout website - is there any other place that tracks all offers?

Does anybody know what position Thomas Wilson is expected to play?

Ok, just looking at recruiting for the first time in a long time. Looks like we haven't taken much for 2014/2015 as far as DT...is this a concern or is the expectation to move some of the 2014 DE's to DT?
Posted on 8/2/14 at 11:25 pm to roadhouse
Either on scout like you said, 247 shows offers. Rivals has a button for offers but you need to pay to get to it. You can get around that on rivals by hitting prospect search, click on Missouri for the college and click the box for recruits with offers only then do a search.

If we land Beckner, no. I suspect he will move to DT at the next level. I don't like the lack of numbers at either spot frankly.
