Haven't seen the video but from what you say , TE sounds like a fit. Should we move Imatorbhebhe to the outside? Hopefully his brother follows next year.

TBTB you seem like a good poster but you are by far the most pessimistic poster on this board. Sam is not costing us in recruiting it is the fact that Mizzou is not seen as an elite school by our in state kids let alone studs from outside. If we continue to have success the next few years in the SEC that will change but it will take time to erase that early 80's to 2003 image. I know the 18 year olds today do not remember that time but media and voters do. I mean seriously we are coming of a 12-2 Division Championship in the SEC and the "experts" act like Mizzou is dead in the water. That is our problem image.

It's cool I understand. Just know that I think all of you guys are great posters too, I have nothing against any of you guys. It's just after being a Tiger fan all these years I know them way too well and I suffer from BTS (Battered Tiger Syndrome) We all have to wear nut cups yearly. Even still I never lose faith and hope that one day Mizzou will have their moment to ride in the sun and i hope to be there for that day.

I hear ya TBTB. To some degree we all suffer from BTS as you say. How can you not after 5th downs and kicked balls. But keep in mind where this program is compared to where it was when those things happened. But that shite happens to everyone. Look at how Auburn won a couple of games last year. UGA and Bama could be saying the same thing with how they lost.

I understand, growing up getting Omaha stations as a kid in the 70-90's arghhh, living through all the BS, TVZ, Flea, 5th down, Edney etc, plus Babs trying to bury our Athletic Department scarred all of us old guys. I though am proud to have weathered the storm and see brighter days in our future. MIZ...

What was up with that? My dad was a former football player and he's told me stories about her but I forget what it was all about.

Emanuel Hall announces tomorrow after visiting us on Monday. 247 thinks he's picking Louisville but I have a good feeling on this one. We seem to do pretty well in the Nashville area where he's from. Thank God Tennessee isn't getting better yet and Vandy is worse.

It also seems like LB Dare Odeyingbo had a great visit and according to Scout seems to be deciding between us and Vandy and he will be deciding before he starts his senior year very soon.

I do wonder if Mizzou offering a TCU LB commit today is indicative of what he lead GP and staff to believe he is headed elsewhere.

Thanks as always you guys for the info. Hall would be a nice addition. Lots of crystal balls saying Louisville. I would point out how many had Ofodile going to Mizzou as evidence of how wrong they can be, but many times when you see a sudden surge of picks and change of picks to one school close to an announcement, I'd imagine it's because something has leaked out. I'm with you about a but feeling but just nothing to really base it on.

Anyone know anything about U city WR Ronell Perkins? Brian McLaughlin predicted he will go to Mizzou and 247 has him listed as warm for us but no one has him rated. He also has a decent offer list from Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, K-state and Purdue.

Don't know much about him. UCity hasn't been a very good program since I can't remember. Here's his HUDL highlights. Pretty impressive on both sides of the ball. Seems very fast off the line. His defensive highlights may be as good as the offensive ones. Not afraid of contact. On offense, it looks like he's their only player lining up a WR or QB.

Looks like he's a track guy, running right around 11.0 in the 100. https://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/Athlete.aspx?AID=5506907

Looks like Scout has him as a 3* Safety and ranked only behind Marquis Doherty in the state at the safety position. Perkins' Scout Page

Thanks Reedus! That is some impressive footage. Please don't tell anyone else in the SEC. It looks like GP has a good sleeper on the line. I'd say your right about the reasoning for no ranking is that UCity isnt very good.

bit off topic, more like 2013, but Andy Bauer was one of the most highly sought after recruits out of the state of Mo, I believe he had more big offers, (LSU,Bama,UGA,Fla,Auburn,A&M among others) than Boehm or about any OL recruit from Mo in a long while, if not ever. I understand he missed his senior season due to injury and think he had surgery but what kind of expectation is there that he will compete for a spot in the 2 deep this year? Is 2015 realistically the soonest he will be able to do anything, does anyone here know?

Obviously don't know for certain until fall camp starts but I suspect he has a real shot at making the 2 deep. I remember reading something a while back that talked about 2 linemen (Bauer and can't remember the other) who GP referenced on occasion. I would be shocked if he earns a starting spot (Boehm didn't until injuries forced it) but I suppose it's possible. He does project as a guard by most so his competition right now is Gatti(Sr), Hall(Jr), Williams(So), Carberry(Sr). Most likely spot is Carberry who had been a walk on until just this season when he was given a scholarship for his senior year. Gatti and Hall got a good amount of playing time last year so I suspect the starting spots are locked down but Williams and moreso Carberry are prime spots he could slide in to.
