I'll never be excited about Gragg. He's going to be a headache.

I just don't understand this attitude at all. How old is Gragg? 17?

When my best friend was 17 he got arrested for shooting a rifle from a road by a game warden. I don't think he was actually spotlighting at the time, but that was the plan for later.

He's now a game warden himself.

17 year olds grow up.

That's great. Too bad Gragg will be at his college of choice in less than a year and not when he's in his 30s and an adult. I'm not sure if you've noticed, but college athletics (especially football and basketball) doesn't seem to mature kids overnight. It treats them like royalty. Will Gragg being treated like royalty at Arkansas does not seem like a recipe for "growing up". I hope I'm wrong.

It seems to me the staff knows what it's doing keeping kids grounded, in class and out of trouble. I'll defer to them on this one.

I'll eat my crow if we get him, but I won't be hyping it up. I'm greedy, I want to sweep the state and I want us to flip Greenlaw as well.

However, O'Grady and Cantrell will be better than Gragg.

Cantrell might be my first man crush.

I'm at Cantrells game right now. Barry Lunney Jr in the house.

In less than a half Cantrell has a fumble recovery about 40 rush yards and has thrown a 2-pt conversion.

As much as I think he'd be the DE we hoped we'd get with Solomon Thomas...

The guy is a weapon and probably too important to the offense to become a defensive player. I hope he doesn't get the Peyton Hillis treatment here.

That adds no purpose to the thread.

Gragg and Pettway will be hogs soon, I'm guessing. Sure would be nice if these guys with "bigger"offers (Hill, Gragg, Pettway to a lesser extent) were conspiring to visit places like Texas, LSU, Bama, Ole Miss, etc...just to recruit other kids to Arkansas. Gang up on 'em.

I just had this feeling when reading Richard's Agim update yesterday that it seemed like this mantra of staying home and turning around the program is becoming pretty popular. Hope it carries into basketball.
