Eric Ainge

He has a sports radio show in Nashville now. And I didn't think Tennessee really saw Vandy as a rival.

It just seems to be that if you're going to say something and it's this serious, you'd be pretty damn sure of your story.

Well, more of a he-said-he-said-he-said-he-said-she-said in this case.

Maybe he saw her as less of a girlfriend and more of a slam piece?

That is my hunch. Just some girl he called at 2am.

Either way, that's still really sick behavior.

If that's the way it happened, definitely. That's like serious mental defect territory. This is the kind of person you find out is a serial killer and it isn't shocking at all.

It is a little weird.............I guess we'll hear more about it tho. Regardless, I hope the media learned a lesson after the Duke Lacrosse rape story.

You'd hope this isn't some kinda "buyer's remorse" thing. The forensics in this case could get kind of sloppy.

They had all been out drinking together that night. Went back to the dorm, and this occurred. I also saw a report/rumor earlier on that there was video involved. If that's the case, it would explain why they were kicked off the team and out of school so fast.

it shouldn't surprise anyone that drunk people do stupid things... and fwiw, we don't know the extent of their relationship. Had they been dating for a while, sure (which doesnt make sense because these guys are freshmen)... if they were friends with benefits and the "boyfriend" was just in it for the secks...?

Ainge is pretty upstanding citizen. I wouldn't really call it that fishy.

There's a big difference between pissing on a cop's shoe while he writes you a ticket for public intox and having your boys gang rape your girlfriend. No one I have ever known turns into a sociopath after a night of heavy drinking.

That's kind of what I was getting at. If they were in some kind of long term relationship, this guy needs to be locked up in a mental ward.

Why the details in OP sound fishy to me. Unless Vandrbilt has seriously reduced standards, thy bring in well educated, stable, and thoughtful people. To me a person like that wouldn't let peeps run a train on his gf. Would also know the consequences of those actions, and connect a to b to realize the wouldn't be the best move for his future.

That could all be wrong though, just my thoughts with the given info.

And there you have it. This is James Franklin's Vanderbilt. Who knows what kid of kids he brings in?

Thinking she is full of it, or that they did it are both valid at this point.

Some of the biggest sociopaths have also been fairly intelligent people.

Yes. Yes, they do.

And I realize people are innocent until proven guilty. But that doesn't make her a liar. And if it's true that at least part of this was caught on video camera, then Vanderbilt's actions make a lot of sense.
