Not sure about that. You could be right, but I'm not sure.

When Driskel was playing well, I think he was better than Mett. But, Driskel regressed towards the end of the season.

It's a coin flip.

Does MSU ever beat UM in anything? They always seem to be last in the state in everyyyyyyyything.

When exactly did Driskel play well? I don't remember it ever happening. Both played pretty terribly at points, but at least Mett showed glimpses of being a great QB against a very good Bama defense and in a few other games.

Mett threw for a thousand more yards last year too and got plenty of more reps passing the ball than Driskel

No Auburn quarterbacks deserve to be on the list at this time (looking at you, Kiehl Frazier and Jonathan Wallace), but Nick Marshall will surprise a lot of people this coming fall.

And by a lot of people, I either mean Auburn fans in a negative fashion, or every other fan base in a positive fashion.

I left myself plenty of wiggle room with this post.

I would be surprised if Wallace is even starting for Ole Miss six games into the season.

there was a point.

Driskel did seem to play well for about a month and then he regressed. Some Gata can expand on it, but it happened. Maybe he got into some antler spray.

I've said it all along that Mett has been an unknown quantity since the play calling has been so bad. With the new blood in calling plays, maybe it will be different.

C'mon. You've got to appreciate that. One of my favorite moments of football comedy, right up there with the Mark Sanchez buttfumble.

And those two guys are in the same city. They should have coffee sometime.

As well as LSU recruits, why can't they field a better QB?

Has more to do with coaching and play calling than talent IMO FWIW

If I wasn't an OM fan and attended that game I might find it just as funny as you do, but such as it is I find those things to be the bane of my existence. (I still feel the butthurt to this day ... Motherfricking Chris Collins was inbounds bitch )

So frick yourself very much for bringing that back up
