Seriously Rasheed Worrell has a Bama page now? I like the efforts, but that guy hasn't gotten a sniff of high-major interest...

I stand corrected. According to CC he's on our radar now. Would still shock me if we offered though.

I was just about to post that. Is he our next option after Davis and Garrett?

I'd hope that there are some better options. Watched his highlights and wasn't very impressed. He can jump and he's long, but he's even thinner than Garrett and pretty slow for someone that small. He also didn't look very coordinated. Many local guys think he's underrated though.

Davis's mom posted that they didn't take their Vanderbilt visit this weekend and will reschedule.

Anything new on where Jacobs stands with the team? As frustrating as he is, I would hate to lose him.

He's working out with the team, but hasn't been officially reinstated.

Jackson's dad just tweeted a link to Al.com article on Auburn's hiring of Persons. They might be in the picture as well. I imagine "not Pearl" will convince them to stop by before or after our visit.

That kid is going to eventually get tired of making a twitter profile for every recruit Alabama is targeting you would think.

Well maybe the recruits will find it flattering? Or perhaps creepy... Well at least they aren't making fake profiles any more...

T.J. Lang received a release from his Letter of Intent at Virginia Tech a week ago. Since then, his recruitment has progressed.
The 6-foot-8, 180-pound wing out of Mobile (Ala.) McGill-Toolen said Auburn and Mississippi State are coming to see him this week, while Oregon State is trying to get him to their campus for a visit.

“Alabama, UNC-Wilmington and Tennessee called my dad,” Lang told Scout.com. “If they offer I will take a visit there. Illinois State, Ole Miss and a few more [have called].”

2014 6'7 WG Jeff Garrett will be taking his first Official Visit to Murray State this weekend. #OC #RacerNation

Hope he doesn't commit to them on his visit.

Jon Horford is transferring and should be eligible immediately. Averaged 14 minutes per game at Michigan this season.

Think we go after him?

Was just about to post that. Grant did recruit his brother.

He isnt very good though. Really soft, no offensive game.

Wait, he will fit right in.

Yeah he coached Al at Florida and we were one of Jon's finalist when he selected Michigan. He's no huge impact guy, but he is 6'10 and fairly athletic. He and Taylor would be a pretty decent center tandem.

If we have a spot, there is really no downside to bringing him in. Maybe he can teach Grant some Beilein ball.

Heck yes we go after him. Grant would be crazy to not at least gauge his interest. Plus it would help get the people on BamaMag that are butt-hurt over losing Carl to shut up. Engstrom for Horford? Yes, please.

Worrell has officially been released. Tommy Deas posted that MSU and Bama have both contacted him and Drexel offered.
