Isn't the ACC already scheduled to have 14 teams, not counting ND.
And isn't Vandy-Wake a yearly game too, to make it 5 SEC-ACC games?

Yes, but the contractual obligation is for 5 games so they will fit them in. It would not surprise me to see the Irish become a full member in the next decade or so and possibly Uconn to round out 16 to make ESPN happy.

yes and no
While Vandy schedules Wake often it would not surprise me to see that series not be renewed in the future.

Nah, it's an extended contract. But I guess they could come with all permanent SEC/ACC foes.

Might be but I wasn't aware of this. They are losing Maryland but getting Louisville which will be 12. Then ND for 13, kinda. Am I missing something?

They have Pitt and Syracuse(which they wanted originally instead of VA Tech).

Ok wasn't sure what the contract was like between Vandy and Wake. Neither are on my radar much.

So ACC will be adding Louisville, Syracuse and Pitt for 14, with a tie-in with ND.

I am not on the record here but lets say if it gets redone I will not be surprised.

Both landmass schools will be very good in 2014. The SEC west that year will be scary good

That's why I have given up on following it for the smaller conferences. Half the time I forget Tulane is going to the AAC and I work 5-10 minutes from campus.

Vandy should upgrade to like VA Tech or something. Maybe play at Bristol Motor Speedway, since they couldn't work it out with UTn.

ND shouldn't be considered in the ACC's calculations since they only play 5 ACC teams a year.

I stopped reading this thread when I got to...

(7) ACC : 2 of Top 10 (20%) : 7 of Top 25 (28%)
Top 10 <..> Notre Dame #6 / Florida State #7
Top 25 <.....> Clemson #13 / Louisville #16 / Miami #18 / Virginia Tech #20 / North Carolina #21

Part of the reason for the post was your observation.

ESPN has the most invested and they get just as many as the SEC

Imagine that.
