So they hired a coach in hopes of maybe winning one game per year. Real smart.

Kevin Sumlin coached the Aggies to 11 wins last year. He did a quality job considering he was breaking in a Freshman QB and had a complete lack of depth on D.

That is why Auburn and the Philadelphia Eagles went after him. He is a good Coach.

With the exception of the Cam year, Arkansas--with shitty Petrino defenses no less-- has had little trouble containing Gus' offenses. I see little reason to worry now.

And without Manziel--another freak of nature like Cam-- TAMU will be quite a bit less scary in the future.

Just my opinion

Exactly, you may want to tell BB to get Gus out of his head.

By the time this season is over your stupid Coach is going to be homesick for the frozen confines of the B1G.

It is so awesome how knowledgeable fans from other schools get these facts about Bilimp. Blimp is in way over his head and whines about everything, I am thinking a younger John L Smith. I just hope he does not call us the state of Alabama program.

Do you hate winning, too?

Uptempo offenses are equalizers for weaker teams.

If you run an uptempo hurry-up you are basically saying we are bitches and need an edge against man-ball.

All these hurry-up frauds will be out of work in a few years when the fad is over.

I see the problem here. You have a limited knowledge of football and the future. HUNH isn't losing momentum, but gaining a bigger hold in today's football. Enjoy it as it will be coming to a college you love soon.

Who's the bitch? Do a little bit of conditioning. LSU didn't seem to have a problem against Oregon.

The Texas A&M Administration was smart enough to hire a Coach with enough brainpower to know it is really stupid to try to out-Saban Saban.

The sad thing is that you've probably convinced yourself that this this is why Sumlin was hired.

Easy for you to say that behind a keyboard in your mother's basement.

Yes, and all those coaches who turned them down before Sumlin finally said "yes" are guys who are on the genius level of intellect...

what does that make Patterson and Petersen who told us NO as well before we had to go down the list to Blimp?

Exactly.

Oregon is bitch football.

It's just a phase, it will be gone soon thankfully.

Link to where they were offered the job?

Can't link HiV as that forum was deleted.

2beaz was the only one offered the job, Gus asked for an interview and was turned down.

I don't see this happening. The state of Texas is loaded with talent and spread/uptempo offenses is predominant in the high school level and 7on7 is a big thing.

The spread is near dead. HUNH will run it's course and something else will come around. Just the natural progression.

Yes, and as this has caused Texas players to be soft.

You have to have a defense in this league if you want to have more than one "great" year on occasion.
