I'm pretty sure the refs already stop the ball from being snapped when subs happen.

I think that's fine.

As long as the offense has the same personal, hurry up is fine, if they sub, the defense should get a chance to react, and that's how it works today.

As I said - nothing worse than a half-wit who thinks he just "won" a point, and ridicules what he doesn't comprehend.

If you say that there must be a 15 second period to allow both sides to sub, then both sides have plenty of time to make their decisions - just like a normal play with a normal huddle.

When you have a rule like the one now, the referee is only required to give enough time for the defense to get on the field. It is a subjective decision that IMO frequently leaves the defense still settling in when the ball is snapped.

Yes, I "trust" the officials to implement the rule. I don't buy into conspiracies to explain my team's shortcomings...that's for other fanbases.

He probably just needs the time to take a bite of ham sandwich before calling the defense.

Do coaches need to just develop more versatile defensive players?

I've questioned why Saban has an issue with it - other than the fact that defending a HUNH offense doesn't allow Nick & Kirby time to make changes to the defensive scheme during a series. If they can't sub, then they can't send in new calls to defend the opponent's offense. IDK

So BB is admitting he is already incapable of adjusting to the way football is headed. Nice hire Piggies. What else will he cry about? 5 wide sets?

Explain what I'm not comprehending. You seem to be the one tossing around insults in an attempt to avoid a conversation on the topic. Where exactly have I been a half wit? Attacks on another's intellect only work when you prove yourself to be of greater intellect. As far as I can tell, the evidence is still lacking.

So you think HUNH should be removed from the game? What about teams that huddle but move to the line more quickly than 15 seconds? What about teams that sub at the end of the game, must they let the clock run out if there is less than 15 seconds left? What about running the field goal unit on the field at the end of a half?

Then I don't understand the problem with the current rule. Sounds like you are making up an issue that isn't really there.

It would still be subjective. The ref would decide when to start the count which is essentially what they already do.

BB and Saban are being cry babies on this issue.

I don't know about Bert. IMO, Saban likes to be able to coach his defensive players during a series, he likes to sub his players and change the defensive calls when he/Kirby feel the need to do so. He's just gotta learn to deal with the HUNH because there will be several conference teams using it now.

IMO, Nick Saban is one of the best defensive minds in college football. He's pullin in close to $6mm/yr, he gets paid to tweek his defense and coach his players to defend the HUNH/fast-paced/spread formations - and any other offensive scheme he comes up against.

I do not even have to talk crap about that baboon any longer. He is done a good job of making himself look totally in over head at Arkansas.

An embarrassment is an embarrassment and nothing can be done for that, this whole experiment with this moron is one big embarrassment.
