For it to be a rivalry South Carolina would have to actually take something for UGA first, i believe. If the past two seasons they had finished what they started and won the East, then maybe would could have this rivalry discussion. As of now, they are more an annoyance.

Losing by a missed extra point or a bad call is an annoyance. 35-7 well...that's something else.

Congrats you won.

For a team that says this is not a rivalry (uga) y'all sure do like to talk about USC a lot. Funny how their wasn't near this much chatter in October, or September of the year before that, or September of the year before that even....

haha, that's cute, no matter how many times we beat y'all, you'll never be our rival. clemson is our rival, and always has been. Y'all are just some rivalry whores, don't y'all have like 4 or 5 already?
Do y'all even know what rivalry means or do you think it just means teams you play?

Are you dumb man? No real UGA will ever say South Carolina is a real rival right now. The in state rivalry with Tech is obvious and the rivalries with UF, Tenn, and AU are all much closer in wins and losses to UGA-SC and is forged over many many years of each team taking championships and meaningful things from each other. No one wants to be your rival, i am simply explaining this to you.

Dont see me starting threads about USC do you? I actually dont mind them. Have a lot of friends who go to school there and thoroughly enjoyed my visit last year, aside from the game itself

I always regarded UGA as a friendly, fun game. Never as a rival. I like UGA fans and I like visiting Athens. And as has been borne out before, b/c the game is played so early in the season the stakes are generally lower.

It was brought up b/c UGA fans on the Rant take shots at USC non-stop. You can't be super adamant a/b not being rivals but then specifically target a single fanbase.
EDIT: Every USC fan in the country is pulling for UGA the first game of the season, too. That's not indicative of a rivalry.
