You should make it a point to see a game in Busch Stadium. The bronze statues of all the HoF players is really cool. And the fireworks over the arch when someone hits a homerun is something to see. The stadium is different from Kaufmann, but also very cool.

I went to the game Friday night. It was a good time even though we lost. This is the first time in years I was at a sold out Royals game. It was AWESOME to see the K packed to the brim!!!

Earlier in the night.

View from an indoor restaurant on the 3rd base side.

Didn't have time to stop and take a good pic of the full stadium because there was such a large flow of people behind me, but the more I look at this pic I kind of like it.

Approximately 41,000 fans on their feet during the 9th inning rally! Unfortunately, it wasn't enough :(

Nice pics, KCM0

There were only about 16-17k at the game we went to, but it got plenty loud when the Royals staged a comeback! Good fans y'all got there

When I went on June 21 (I believe), it was just about sold out. Probably 39k there.... but it was a Buck Night + Firework Friday which helped Tickets were about $20 on StubHub and so we decided to buy them at the box office and the lowest priced ones were $26 though... so it is a good thing that it was Buck Night

We lost like 9-1 or something close to that...

Crowds have been pretty good recently for the most part.

It was a lot of fun. Great ballpark atmosphere. Will definitely go there again (hopefully to see the Cards!)

Nice pics. Like SEMO said you should go to STL for a game. Better atmosphere, great views of the skyline, GREAT baseball fans. I'm a Royals fan but I LOVE the atmosphere in STL waaaaaaaaaay more. Just don't care for NL baseball. But I am a fan of the AA Springfield Cards

I can't wait to go sometime! My father in law and brother in law went straight to STL after the Royals game with my wife and I and they said they had a blast over there.

Cardinal games don't really have much atmosphere. They are events people go to just to be seen. Everyone sits on their hands. I don't blame them, though. They have been so spoiled they only care about the playoffs.

Kaufman is still the most beautiful stadium in MLB. Pretty amazing considering its age.

Saying there isn't really much atmosphere is unfair I think. It's just a different type of atmosphere. I would also disagree when you say they don't care except in the playoffs. They draw 3,000,000+ each year because they do care, even during the regular season. You are right, though. A lot more sitting in the seats and not as rowdy as other places, unless there's reason to be rowdy.

Don't know about most beautiful, but Kaufman is absolutely up there among them for me as well.

It is a different atmosphere a full stadium compared to KCs 18,000 and the other difference is we win.....don't get all butt hurt bc we play baseball in October it's baseball heaven maybe one day KC will sell out a game that doesn't involve 60 percent of the stadium being cardinal fans we are one of the best traveling fan bases in the country so to act like we lack anything is just bitterness on ur part

Okay...enough people. No need to start an instate war of words between our two largest cities.

Just accept that if you're from KC you're probably poor, relatively uneducated, and therefore rowdy, and if you're from St. Louis, you're probably a pretentious rich Catholic who walks with nose turned upward.

Period. Embrace your upbringing...

He is full of the kaka.

I wont bash on KC because short round has a complex.

ETA: Maybe he could change his screen name to notsince85 in honor of the last time the Royals made the playoffs?

Sorry, I couldnt help myself....
