I used a poor choice of words there and don't mean to compare football with what I said.

No worries...as far as I am concerned Rolando McClain has used up any sympathy I had for him.

Maybe Ro can get his head straight, coming back to school and being around his coaches, S&C coach, etc. may be a great thing for him right now. Get involved with some structure, discipline, and get back to the basics before he ruins his life forever.

He came off as a thug in the one class I had with back in 2009. Wouldn't quit talking, doing shite on his phone, etc. Was asked to leave the class and he cussed out the old professor. Maybe he'll one day get his shite together.

I heard similar crap about him while he was at Bama in Saban's strict and structured environment. The guy needs an attitude adjustment more than anything, IMO. The sooner the better.

All of which begs the question, exactly how was McClain ever held accountable for his actions by Saban? If McClain was well known to have exhibited this behavior...not to mention the assault on a felow student that he was sued over...did Saban ever do anythig at all to him? Remember the times Saban said that he never would yell at McClain because he figured it wasn't necessary because McClain always knew as soon as he'd made a mistake and was harder on himself than Saban ever could be? Well apparently that wasn't true when it came to off the field behavior. And remember the time that McClain went bat shite crazy on a official in the Va. Tech game? Did McClain ever see tne sideline for even one play? No.

I always have and continue to praise Saban for his discipline, but after all the incidents just while he was at Alabama, I've now come to the conclusion that, for some reason, Saban let McClain get away with murder while demanding good behavior by the rest of the team.
