In some of his greatest calls he actually never does. Butler against Clemson, Robinson against Kentucky, etc.

Oddly enough, it's what makes him great. The implication of his voice and the expressive words he uses takes it from the mundane reporting of what is happening in front of him to the actual painting a picture with words. I don't know if we could call the man a genius, but he damn sure loved this program and this game more than most anyone we will ever know.
