Mornings are the worst part of the day for me. The hardest part is getting out of bed, I never wake up rested, I'm not fully awake until about an hour after I've woken up and it usually takes coffee, Mtn. Dew, or my pay the frick attention meds to get me going.

Am I just not sleeping like I'm supposed to? I used to have bad insomnia but my stress has come down so I can fall asleep but it feels like I barely sleep.

I'm the same, except it takes me two cups of coffee and a redbull

I sleep at least 7 hours a night. But mornings just suck arse.

I specifically made my hours for the afternoon and night just because I'm not a morning person.

I am the biggest dick ever in the mornings. Do NOT wake me unless its dire.

I had the same problem for a while. Still have it from time to time. Try to get 8 hours even though it can be tough. I always sleep as much as I can in the weekends which has really helped with this early in the week. I'm still worn out by Friday though.

How many hours do you work per week? A big part of my problem was that I was putting in 60 and 70 hour weeks and it was just draining me

Mornings are the same for me whether I get 3 hours of sleep or 8. My brain takes at least an hour to catch up to my body.

I'm taking my last class of college right now. I know I need to get this shite fixed this summer. Ive had 9-5 jobs and I would get into a rhythm and it not affect me as much but over the past couple weeks its been rough.

I was the exact same way during high school, college, and all the way through mid 20's. I was just NOT a morning person.

I hit about age 30 and that symptom was completely gone like magic. I have a problem with waking up too early nowadays. I miss long sleeps I used to have back in college. I used to sleep like a champion.

Thats what I'm hoping. When I worked for the electrical contractor I was waking up well and the same when I worked at the yacht club. I can't wait to be done with school. I know not having all the free time will suck but I just want to start making some money and move on to a new chapter in my life.
